Fireflies Orphanage is built on the belief that every child deserves a safe, loving, and supportive environment to grow. We are dedicated to nurturing children with care, education, and opportunities that help them overcome challenges and build brighter futures. Through compassion, guidance, and community support, we strive to empower every child to grow with confidence, resilience, and hope for the life ahead.
Our History
Our roots trace back to 1947, when our forefathers migrated to Pakistan following the partition of the subcontinent. Over the years, our family joined hands with various non-profit organisations to expand our reach and deepen our impact. In 2022, we established our own institution—Muhammad Ishaq Ali (MIA) Foundation & Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre—named in honour of one of our elders, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, Government of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Fireflies Orphanage operates under the same umbrella as a dedicated initiative, with its own licence currently applied for and pending approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
